The best part about being a travel blogger is that you earn by exploring the world and gaining new experiences. I left my desk job five years back and have not regretted to date. In the past four years, I have explored seven countries and counting. My recent journey was to Dubai, yet most people feel that it is the most commonly visited city but I wanted to explore many other things before getting to Dubai. Because of traveling so much I have learned some hacks and tips to travel in a budget. The first thing to keep mind is to avoid traveling in the peak season as it will double your cost of travel. After that, you must check out different airlines site to get the best offer. I got mine on the Delta Airlines official site this time and I confirmed Delta Airlines reservations in order to not miss a good deal. I charged my GoPro and got ready for my journey.
To avoid any excess expense I made sure that I stayed in a hostel rather than a hotel. I made sure to book myself for the hostel while I was making Delta Airlines booking. I freshened up and conversed with the locals to know about public transports that were available to begin my adventure in Dubai.
This 828 meters high tower has to be on the top of your must-visit list in Dubai for everyone and so was it on mine. I went straight to catch the glimpse of this main attraction. I went to the sky lounge which is on the 122nd floor that serves mouthwatering food along with an amazing view. Anyone will definitely feel on the top of the world at such a height.
The Dubai Mall
Despite not being a shopaholic, I went to The Dubai Mall which is right next to the Khalifa. But I was pretty excited about its underwater zoo and the Dubai Aquarium so I thought of exploring those. The mall has more than 1200 shops that consist of almost all brands to shop your heart out along with 150 restaurants and cafes for binge eating.
The Dubai Fountain
The good thing about Dubai is that all these attractions are within walking distance, which helps in exploring everything and not missing out on anything. The Dubai fountain is also near the Khalifa, which is popular because of the 150-meter high dancing water jet show. It is a beautiful view, as the colorful water musical dance is known as the largest choreographed fountain system of the system. I captured everything on my GoPro and posted on my Instagram handle, which ended up getting the highest views on my feed.
Once you are tired of all the traveling, you must head to the famous beach of the city and relax while gaining new experiences. The beach of Dubai was the most happening place as there were a ton of different activities to get involved in. There was an open-air cinema to relax, a water park to chill, a beach party to dance on your tippy-toes and much more. I feel it was the best place above all as I had to not wait in a queue or ask people about the drill, which proved to be a stress buster. I had an amazing baked steak in a cute little cafe along with sangria that helped me relax more.
As I have been to several countries and explored their cities inside out, I felt that the localities of Dubai were more generous I have seen to date. It amuses me of how the city was full of tourists even in the offseason. My trip included a visit to Dubai Marina, Dubai’s Dessert, Dubai Creek, Palm Jumeriah, Dubai Opera, IMG World of Adventures, and the Etihad Museum.
