Air North Bookings and Reservations

Senior citizens of age 60+ years and children aged 2-11 accompanied by an adult  are entitled to get a discount of 10% of the fare in some fare classes. While infants up to 2 years of age can travel without paying any fare charge with a paying adult passenger. The three fare classes of Air North are-

  1. GoYukon- if a customer is planning to travel  way before the scheduled date, then this fare class is the best and most affordable among the three. However, if you are not sure about the travel date and you may need to change the date of travel then this may cost you a heavy amount of change fee. 
  2. Saver- this is a bit costly than GoYukon but has a low change fee which helps in changing the travel date a bit cheaper.  
  3. Optimum- this fare class offers the greatest amount of flexibility as the customer need to pay the lowest amount of cancellation and change fees. This fare class also lets a customer choose their seat in advance.

Air North Cancellations and Flight Changes

Customers can cancel their tickets online on Air North official website and apply for a refund if applicable. To know everything about fare rules such as cancellation policy, change fees, or day-of-week restrictions, customers need to roll over the ticket fare price on the live booking page on Air North’s website. All the prices are displayed in  Canadian Dollars.

Flight change fee for GoYukon fare class is $80 CAD plus fare difference and applicable taxes and fees and a cancellation fee of $80 plus taxes

For Saver fare class, the flight change fee is $50 CAD plus fare difference and applicable taxes and fees and a cancellation fee of $50 plus taxes.

While Optimum fare class needs to pay a flight change fee of $25 CAD plus fare difference and applicable fees and taxes and a cancellation fee of $25 plus taxes. 

Air North Baggage Policy

The baggage allowance varies according to aircraft routes. Free baggage allowance on the Southern  Routes is 2 pieces of baggage weighing a maximum of 45kgs. And the Northern Routes passengers are allowed 2 pieces of baggage having a maximum of 20kgs of weight. Extra baggage is charged at $30+ GST+PST+HST per piece and a maximum of 2 pieces are allowed.
