Everyone needs a break from their monotonous life. We repeat the same work daily that kills that adventurous kid inside us. To give life to my courageous kid inside me, I planned a trip to North Dakota. I made my booking on the Delta Airlines official site and reserved my seat conveniently at an affordable price. While booking tickets I completed my baggage check-in process and some desserts in my food cart. Nowadays the tickets are so expensive so for some savings I booked my return ticket with Delta Airlines Reservations. The ticket prices are cheap and in-flight services are premium compared to the ticket fare.
Landing on North Dakota
At the airport the ground staff handed over my baggage with a smiling expression, I booked an Uber cab and reached my hotel. Collected my room keys, and went for a shower. After grabbing my dinner, I started to plan some destinations according to my location. I asked the waiter to help me out.
Theodore Roosevelt National Park
The first place in my card was Theodore Roosevelt National Park. I was in the land of the national park, the park is sectioned in three different areas. The main attractions of this park are Roosevelt Buffalo. I witness the power and credibility of wild buffaloes. Other than Roosevelt Buffalo, I enjoyed the dance of deer, snore of wild horses, elk, sheep, and many more. The park is rich with varieties of flora.
Fort Mandan Overlook State Historic Site
After experiencing the natural beauty, my next stop was Fort Mandan Overlook State Historic Site. To preside over the location, explorer Lewis and Clark built a fort in the winter of 1804. The fort is based on the bank of the river, Fort Mandan Overlook State Historic Site is also the ancient icon of North Dakota. I witnessed the comprehensive and interactive truth of the past, the place is covered by dense forest.
National Buffalo Museum
Like the name, the museum is rich in the history of animals including Buffaloes. The museum is preserving the heritage of animals for future generations. A way back there was a time when thousands of buffaloes roam inside the city, so the localities named the place as Buffalo land. For the memory of the past, they built a 60-ton concrete statue of Big ruthless buffalo. The whole valley is dedicated to buffalo and many other animals. By visiting the National Buffalo Museum I came to know the value and bond of animals in our life.
North Dakota Heritage Center
I was curious to visit the North Dakota Heritage Center for ascertaining the ancient culture of North Dakota. The museum does not only consist of history but also the character of past lives. While roaming the North Dakota Heritage Center, I watched a prototype of a Mars suit. Before ending the trip I must say the beauty, charm, and history of North Dakota can’t be matched by any other country. All the localities are so humble and devoted to their job.
After exploring North Dakota I felt that I got my soul back. All the localities are very helpful and down to earth. The bond between animals and people living here is exceptional. I didn’t want to go back but times do not permit me to stay here. Thank you Delta Airlines Booking for managing my trip smoothly. If life allows I will return once again to connect with nature. My trip ended with visiting Peace park.
