  • Go to the bottom of the list then, select others and Click on add account

  • Enter the inbound host server name as “IMAP.mail.SBCglobal.Net ”

  • Incoming port to “468”

  • POP general settings
    Insecure port:995 and set the security type as SSL/TLS (Accept all certificates)
    Secure port:110 and set the security type as None (Accept all certificates)
  • The option of “This server requires an encrypted connection(SSL)” must not be ticked
  • Set the “Use the following type of encrypted connection” option as None

  • Set the outgoing port to 465 and incoming port to 143
    Insecure port:143 and set the security type as None (Accept all certificates)
    Secure port:993 and set the security type as SSL/TLS (Accept all certificates)
  • Uncheck the  “This server requires an encrypted connection(SSL)” option box
  • Set the “Use the following type of encrypted connection” option as None

Please note that if you wish to use the Secure SSL/TLS Settings, Select the option of “This service requires a secure connection(SSL)” under both incoming and outgoing mails section.

  • To complete the process, click on Ok and then Finish
  • Now you have configured your SBCglobal.Net Email Settings Outlook 2007 and it’s ready for use.

  • Click on Account provided under Mail & contact tab
  • Select on Add New Account option

  • The system will ask for your authorized login credentials

  • Again you have to enter your mailing address along with SBCglobal Domain name and password
